The drinking bowl for cattle and horses is made of ductile cast iron and is protected against corrosion by a hot-applied powder coating during production. This process protects the cast iron from corrosion, which ensures that the water does not react with the cast iron or leftover feed while the animals are drinking. The inner surface of the bowl is smooth, which allows for quick cleaning of feed residue left behind by the animals. The drinker has two 1/2" water connections, both top and bottom, which are through-flow and allow for the connection of a heating circulation pump with a closed water circuit to protect the drinkers and the water system from freezing.
